WorkFlow tailors specifically to each business and individual. Please contact us for more information of exactly how we can best support your work place. An in person discussion is the best way of negotiating this.
How do we get started once we decide we want WorkFlow Massage?
Initially we will conduct an in house survey of all employees to establish areas of concern are and set goals to be achieved from the treatment.
It is most beneficial that the initial consult is 30mins to evaluate, assess, and get background on each individual. This process is essential in creating a picture of each individual, so our therapists can create a thorough treatment plan.
Decide on day and time. Finalise space to be used.
How much room will we need?
Massage tables require room, and it is preferable to have a private area (such as a board room or meeting room) to preserve client privacy at all times. However, we can arrange dividers if you do not have a room available.
It is paramount that if oil massage has been requested that the utmost privacy is provided. Clients will be draped appropriately at all times during these consults.
Do I need to bring anything?
It is very beneficial for our therapists if you bring relevant X-rays, CT Scans, Ultrasound Scans, MRI’s, or specialist and Doctor reports. These will only help us provide you with a more thorough treatment.
If you have long hair please bring a hair tie or something to tie it back with.
What should I wear?
It is recommended that individuals wear a more comfortable shirt (cotton is best) or bottoms (depending on area of treatment) on the day of treatment. Something that is easier for the therapist to work through and something that won’t crease or cause skin irritation.
For table massage using oils the client undresses only to expose the body part that is being massaged. Towels are used to drape the client so that decency is preserved at all times.
Is there anyone that cannot be treated?
Basically we can treat anyone, however, it is important that therapist are informed of any medical conditions that may affect their treatment so they can plan accordingly. Any medical conditions or injuries need to be filled in on your initial form for those receiving regular treatment.
Examples of conditions that we need to be informed of: Pregnancy or if you think you may be pregnant. Heart conditions (pacemaker), diabetes, epilepsy, high blood pressure, serious injuries, recent operations, and any other major issues. If you have any doubt about what you should disclose – be cautious and tell us!
How will I feel after the massage?
It is important to note that results and effects of treatments will differ for each individual - please discuss this with your therapist.
However, you will very likely feel a combination of slight tenderness, if deep muscular work has been received, invigoration, and an increased freedom of movement in the body part treated.
Note: it is very important that you drink water before and after your treatment session as it helps in flushing the lymphatic system.
For those that have received a deep tissue massage it is normal to feel residual soreness in the area worked for a day or two after, but if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact WorkFlow Massage.
How do we pay?
There are three options
Option 1. The business pays 100%: this is completely tax deductible and can be incorporated into OH&S expenditure (rather than an employee benefit that is subject to FBT). A strict 14 day payment period applies.
Option 2. The business subsidises a portion of the treatment and the individual covers the excess. Individual pays on the day, and the business has a strict 14 day payment period.
Option 3. The business provides room, regular sessions and times, but the individual pays 100%. Payment is strictly at the time of treatment.
We accept cash, eftpos, credit card payments from the individual, and the same for businesses + cheque and direct bank transfer
Do private health rebates apply?
We cover all major health funds, and receipts can be provided for sessions of 30mins or more. It is up to the individual to find out whether they are covered for remedial massage in their extras.
Note: We have standard consultation fees, however, depending on employee numbers participating, frequency, and services requested may be able to apply a discount to reward you for your business. Please call and let us provide you with a highly competitive quote.
Oil massage sessions come at a slightly higher cost due to the cost of linen
